National and regional parks to protect all remaining State native
forests and woodlands. |

Comprehensively survey and catalogue
flora and fauna in State native forests and woodlands. |

Re-orient
management and research from ‘silviculture” to “restoration of ecosystems.” |

Independently
and scientifically, review forest fuel reduction by prescribed burning
and manage to maximise the benefit to native forest and woodland
ecology. |

Withdraw
recognition and use of Australian Forestry Standard (AFS) certification
and support and use only Forest Stewardship Council certification
of timber produced or acquired by State agencies. |
9) |
Promote
recycled, high quality paper manufacturing industries in Australia. |

Co-operate
with other relevant NGOs on native forest issues |
